1062 Public Session
Mrs Hinchliffe attended the meeting to explain her objections to Planning Application No. 2009/62/90353 and to seek the Parish Council’s support.
1063 Agenda
It was RESOLVED to bring forward item 8 Planning Application No. 2009/62/90353
1064 Planning Application No. 2009/62/90353
Following discussion, it was RESOLVED to object to the planning application for the following reasons: Impact on trees and hedges; highway safety and visual and residential amenity.
1065 Apologies for Absence
Reasons for absence were received from Cllr R Allen. It was RESOLVED that the reasons for absence submitted be accepted as valid.
1066 Declarations of Councillors’ Interests
There were no declarations of interest.
1067 Admission of the Public
It was RESOLVED that there were no items requiring the exclusion of the press and public.
1068 Minutes
It was RESOLVED that the minutes of the meeting held on 24 February 2009 be received.
1069 Appeal Against Refusal of Planning Application
The Clerk submitted correspondence from Kirklees Council advising of an appeal lodged by Mr G Parker against the refusal of planning application No. 2008/62/92110 for the erection of a barn for the storage of hay and straw at 1 Westfield Lane/Jagger Lane, Emley. It was RESOLVED that the correspondence be noted.
1070 Local Development Framework
The clerk submitted the Parish Council’s submission to Kirklees Council concerning the Local Development Framework consultation. She explained that the document has been drawn up to incorporate the Council’s comments on the four options which had been agreed at the meeting held on 24 March 2009. Cllr Sigsworth left the meeting at this point because he disagreed with the proposed submission to the LDF. It was RESOLVED that the document as attached be approved for submission to Kirklees Council.
1071 Planning Notifications and Planning Decisions
Planning notifications and decisions were considered and observations made thereon.
