641 Public Discussion Time
Two members of the public raised concerns about the issue of tipping of rubbish at 33 Bilham Road, Clayton West.

It was RESOLVED to bring forward item 7 Complaint about Tipping at 33 Bilham Road, Clayton West.
643 Complaint about Tipping at 33 Bilham Road
The Clerk submitted correspondence from Mr & Mrs Short to Paul Wood, Kirklees Council enforcement officer concerning their complaint about the tipping of waste on land owned by the owners of 33 Bilham Road, Clayton West. The Clerk reported that she had contacted Mr Wood who had indicated that he would be visiting the site to assess the situation. It was RESOLVED that the council support Mr & Mrs Short in their efforts to rectify this problem and that a letter be sent to Mr Wood asking that he advise the council what action if any, he proposes to take and that copies of correspondence addressed to ex-Cllr Ronnie Mottram from the Environment Agency from July 2008 handed to the council by Mr & Mrs Smith be forwarded to Mr Wood.

Apologies for absence were submitted by Cllrs R Allen, D Kaye and S Simpson. It was RESOLVED that the reasons for absence submitted by the above councillors be accepted as valid.

It was RESOLVED that there were no items requiring the exclusion of the press and public.
647 Minutes
It was RESOLVED that the minutes of the meeting held on 20 May 2008 be received.
648 Central Wakefield Area Action Plan Development Plan
The Clerk submitted the Wakefield MDC Central Wakefield Area Action Plan Development Plan consultation document. It was RESOLVED that the document be noted.
649 Planning Notifications and Planning Decisions
Planning notifications and decisions were considered and observations made thereon.
