At the commencement of the meeting, there will be an open session, lasting 15 minutes for members of the public to address Members in connection with planning applications to be considered at the meeting. This session allows both applicants and objectors to address Members.

To discuss the issue of illegal advertising boards (Minute 325 refers). Ward councillors and Jacqui Gedman, Assistant Director of Highways & Transportation have been invited. Cllrs Dodds and Ward have sent apologies with their comments on this matter (enclosed)
6. Street Naming
To note the decision of Kirklees Council to reject the Parish Council’s proposed name “Blacker Dyke” for the development off Wakefield Road/Langley Lane, Scissett
7. Erection of Hoarding Freestanding Sign, Denby Dale Cricket Club
To receive correspondence from Kirklees Council responding to the committee’s complaint about Planning Application No. 2007/64/94114 (Minute 360 refers) (enclosed)
