You are hereby summoned to attend the meeting of the Plans Scrutiny Committee to be held on Tuesday, 18 March 2008 at 7.30pm in the Council Chamber, Council Offices, Skelmanthorpe to transact the following business:

1. Open Session
At the beginning of the meeting, there will be an open session, lasting 15 minutes for members of the public to address Members in connection with planning applications to be considered at the meeting. This session allows both applicants and objectors to address Members.

6. Street Naming
To give consideration to suggested names for allocation to a new street to serve the residential development off Cuttlehurst, Scissett.
7. Parish/Town Councils and Planning Applications
To receive correspondence from Kirklees Council responding to the Parish Council’s complaint to the Audit Commission about the decision by Kirklees Council to remove the automatic right of referral to the planning sub-committees of applications where the Parish Council has made a recommendation contrary to the officer recommendation. To consider sending a delegate to a one day seminar organised by Yorkshire Planning Aid on Everything you wanted to know about Section 106 agreements…” to be held from9.30am to 4.30pm on 10 April at St George’s Centre, Great George Street, Leeds
