The Trust continues to meet every two months to review and plan activities. Volunteer days are held five or six times a year and an annual celebration is beginning to be established. Anyone who is interested in being involved should email the secretary, Linda Kavanagh - click here to email.
The land for Kaye’s Millennium Green was given to the village by Robin Kaye Bradbury and Timothy Bradbury, descendents of John Kaye.
It was developed by the Trustees as part of the Countryside Agency’s Millennium Greens Initiative which is supported by the Millennium Commission with funds from the National Lottery.

The Millennium Green Initiative has the following aims
· To make a substantial contribution to the life of the whole community · To be able to be enjoyed by people of all ages and physical abilities · To be open and evident to visitors to the locality as well as the inhabitants · To be an attractive place for people to take air and exercise, meet others and pursue leisure activities and pastimes consistent with shared enjoyment of the whole of the land · To include significant ‘natural’ areas where people can enjoy nature and wildlife at first hand · To make a positive contribution to the local environment and respect the established character of the area · To remain safely and conveniently accessible from inhabitants’ homes
