Cllr Barlow recently retired having worked in Kirklees Libraries (Denby Dale and Skelmanthorpe) for more than 20 years. She very much enjoyed the involvement in village life through her work in the libraries and decided to stand for election this year in order to continue that involvement. She is committed to pursuing environmental issues and ensuring the best possible provision of services to the community.
