I have served on the Parish Council for the last 20 years for the Skelmanthorpe ward.
I am currently the longest serving councillor on the Council and over the years, I have been Chair twice and have fulfilled every role the Council has to offer.
I believe that a well run Parish Council can make a big difference to the area, because we are unpaid, councillors are local and are acutely aware of local issues and are in a strong position to get things done.
I have lived in the area all my life and take a keen interest in our local environment. I was one of the original members of the Parish Environment Trust and continue to support it and the excellent work it does.
