Cllr Tribe has lived in Birdsedge for almost 20 years and has been involved in various community activities within the village – junior youth club, summer playschemes, school governors, festival committee and applying for a lottery grant to refurbish and extend the village hall.
She has three daughters, the youngest of whom is in the sixth form at Shelley College. She works for the Children and Young People's Service of Kirklees Council as a Social Worker.
