Five members of the public attended the meeting to express opposition to Planning Application No. 2009/62/92168.
1286 Declarations of Councillors’ Interests
Cllrs E Shaw declared a personal interest in Item 6 Planning Application No 2009/62/91955.
1287 Agenda
It was RESOLVED to bring forward Planning Application No. 2009/62/92168 from Item 6.
1288 Planning Application No. 2009/62/92168
It was RESOLVED that the Council oppose Planning Application No. 2009/62/92168 on the grounds of highway safety and residential and visual amenity.
Council understands that there is a boundary dispute associated with the application since some of the proposed parking spaces are on land owned by the owner of No. 52 and encroach on her garden and garage.
1289 Apologies for Absence
Reasons for absence from the meeting were submitted from Cllrs S Simpson and A Stimson. It was RESOLVED that reasons for absence submitted by the above Councillors be accepted as valid reasons.
1290 Admission of the Public
It was RESOLVED that there were no items requiring the exclusion of the press and public.
1291 Minutes
It was RESOLVED that the minutes of the meeting held on 28 July 2009 be approved as a correct record and signed by the Chair.
1292 Planning Notifications and Planning Decisions
Planning notifications and decisions were considered and observations made thereon. It was RESOLVED that the Clerk report to the next meeting the reasons for Kirklees Council’s decisions in relation to application Nos. 91336, 91497, 91510 and 91667.
