8. To appoint a representative to the Standards Committee

9. To appoint an Executive Committee and Ordinary Member to the Denby Dale Parish Environment Trust

10. To appoint two Parish Councillors to the Steering Group of the Denby Dale Parish Countryside Project

11. To appoint four representatives to serve on the Denby Dale Parish Accident Prevention Committee

12. To appoint two voting representatives to attend the Yorkshire Local Council Association Meetings

14. To consider the appointment of the following standing committees:

15. To appoint six representatives to serve on the Denby Dale Area Committee

16. To confirm the Council’s annual subscriptions to the following organisations/periodicals to be paid as they fall due:  Yorkshire Rural Community Council; Council for the Protection of Rural England, Society of Local Council Clerks, Open Spaces, Penistone Line Partnership, Local Council Update, Local Council Review

17. To appoint school governors

18. To consider a revised Code of Conduct.  (See attached explanatory note)

19. To confirm as a correct record, if agreed, the minutes of the Parish Council meeting held on 3 April 2007 and the Special Parish Council Meeting held on 24 April 2007 (copies enclosed)

20. To discuss business arising from those minutes

c. To note correspondence concerning Shelley Woodhouse Lane resurfacing (Minute No. 602 refers)
d. To receive a report on the placing of a flower tower at the junction of Huddersfield Road/Station Road, Skelmanthorpe (Minute No. 605 refers)
