1321 Declarations of Councillors’ Interests
No declarations of interest were made.
1322 Apologies for Absence
Reasons for absence from the meeting were submitted from Cllr N Wilson.
RESOLVED that reasons for absence submitted by Cllr Wilson be accepted as valid.
1323 Admission of the Public
RESOLVED that there were no items requiring the exclusion of the press and public.
1324 Minutes
RESOLVED that the minutes of the meeting held on 28 July 2009 be received.
1325 Planning Decisions from August 2009
The Clerk submitted information from Kirklees Council explaining the decisions taken in relation to Planning Application Nos. 2009/48/91336, 2009/62/91497, 2009/62/91510, 2009/62/91667. Members expressed their concern that the Parish Council’s views did not appear to be taken into account when decisions were made on planning applications. The Clerk reported that the issue was on the agenda of the Joint Kirklees & Town/Parish Council Liaison meeting to be held the following evening.
RESOLVED that the concerns of the Committee be raised at the Joint meeting.
1326 Planning Notifications and Planning Decisions
Planning notifications and decisions were considered and observations made thereon.
RESOLVED that the Clerk report to the next meeting the reasons for Kirklees Council’s decisions in relation to application Nos. 2009/61/91536, 2009/62/91777, 2009/62/91991, 2009/62/92033.
